The next Destruction Semi-Destruction game is Dirt: Showdown. It will be released in the 24th May, so they're 28 days left, but the demo-version comes to the 1st May 2012.
A lot of pictures, videos and some "gameplays" are avaliable on YouTube or other sites and there are three main-themes: SPEED, STYLE and: DESTRUCTION. In SPEED you'll drive on tracks with modfied cars for the win - crashes are possible, but not the best idea to win the race, because your car can be turned around, seriously damaged or (after a fatal cash) maybe wecked! With STYLE are the gymkhana-events from Dirt:3 meant. You have to drive donuts, do jumps or break "walls" made of foam material. Last but not least: DESTRUCTION! Driving in a classic bowl/arena with the same principe like in DDA, but with one difference: resawning cars! It means, after your car is "wrecked", you'll be spawned on a ramp! And does anybody remember to the Armageddon-Mode? The same principe is included in Showdown. Of course are there normal Stock-Car-Events included.
Oh, it will be released under the new CODEMASTERS-Label: CODEMASTERS-RACING!
